Organizational Announcement-Nick Oster Named Manager of Material/Supply Chain

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Oster to the Manager of Material/Supply Chain for CIRCOR Aerospace - Aerodyne Controls at the Ronkonkoma, New York facility. In this new role, he will have a reporting relationship to the General Manager for the Aerodyne business and to Michelle Martell, the Director of Sourcing for the CIRCOR Aerospace Products Group.

 

Nick has a long history of achievement in procurement, supply chain management and subcontract negotiation. He also has extensive experience in inventory management, planning and supplier selection and qualification from his time at North America Festo and Microwave Power Devices. He joined Aerodyne Controls in 2007 as the Purchasing Manager. During that time, he has successfully managed the purchasing department while extensively reducing our material costs. We appreciate the efforts that he has made in special assignments and his efforts to re-align our material spend and supplier management processes. In this role, Nick will manage the current purchasing team, including the production planning scheduler, receiving and inventory control.
