CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. Provides Mission Critical Components to USS Freedom, Nation’s First Littoral Combat Ship

CORONA, CA – September 25, 2008 -- CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to be a supplier of the engine start manifolds for the first Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) designed and developed by the Lockheed Martin/Marinette Marine LCS team for the United States Navy. CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc.; under the Circle Seal Controls brand, provides four independent high pressure manifold assemblies powering critical pneumatic systems on the latest addition to the US fleet. These manifolds control the ship propulsion turbine start system and consist of numerous relief valves and pneumatic flow controls used throughout the ship to meet complex mission requirements.
